Religious Education

Here at St. Matthew, we currently offer Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Levels 1 & 2, Faith Explorers for Grades 4+, Confirmation Prep, and youth group!

We also encourage all families to have religious education in the home. There are a number of programs available and if you would like to learn more about this, you may contact Amanda Williams at the parish office.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is a method of religious formation that focuses on helping children enter into a relationship with God. CGS is based on the educational principals of Maria Montessori.

CGS will be starting at St. Matthew in October!.

Faith Explorers

Children grades 4+ will join Deacon Mark for Faith Explorers on Sunday mornings starting at St. Matthew in October!.

Confirmation Prep

Confirmation prep is starting this September for those who wish to prepare to receive their Confirmation in the spring of 2025.

Cost of materials is $30

Youth Group

Older children who have received the sacrament of Confirmation are invited to join our twice a month Monday meetings for games, learning, and friendship.
